Professional Scope & Coaching Disclaimer

Last updated: August 14, 2026

This page explains the scope and limits of Career Strategy USA’s professional coaching services.

PROFESSIONAL COACHING
Career Strategy USA provides professional coaching: a collaborative, developmental, and future-focused process. Coaching supports reflection, awareness, professional communication, decision-making, and client-generated action.

OUR APPROACH
Each engagement starts with your situation, not a fixed script. The coaching approach uses client-centered conversation, ontological coaching lenses, and executive-coaching education to create a confidential, nonjudgmental space for exploration. You choose the focus and remain the author of your decisions.

COACHING IS NOT
Coaching is not psychotherapy, mental-health treatment, medical care, crisis intervention, legal advice, immigration advice, financial advice, recruiting, employment placement, résumé writing, or a guarantee of employment, interviews, promotions, compensation, or any other result.

EMERGENCIES AND MENTAL-HEALTH SUPPORT
Career Strategy USA is not an emergency service or a substitute for mental-health care. If you are in immediate danger or experiencing a crisis in the United States, call or text 988 for the Suicide & Crisis Lifeline, call 911, or contact local emergency services. For non-emergency mental-health support, contact a licensed mental-health professional.

CONFIDENTIALITY
Coaching conversations are confidential subject to the written Coaching Agreement and applicable law. The agreement explains confidentiality, its relevant limits, scheduling, investment, roles, and other terms before coaching begins.

CLIENT RESPONSIBILITY
You remain responsible for your decisions, actions, and outcomes. Coaching supports you in exploring your situation and identifying your own informed next steps; it does not make decisions for you.

PROGRAM STATUS
Monserrat Galindo is a participant in the Columbia Coaching Certification Program at Teachers College, Columbia University. She does not represent herself as a graduate of the program, and Career Strategy USA is not affiliated with or endorsed by Columbia University.
