Coaching for Latin American professionals advancing their careers in the U.S.

Career advancement goes beyond technical skills and hard work

Technical skills and hard work matter. So does how you communicate your achievements, results, and contributions in the U.S. job market.

When your career path spans countries, industries, and roles, communicating its value may feel overwhelming, confusing, and unclear.

Career Strategy USA provides bilingual, personalized coaching for Latin American professionals ready to pivot their careers in the United States.

Together, we explore your strengths, skills, and outcomes so that you may clarify your next move and make your non-linear, international, or cross-industry career relevant for the U.S job market.

Sound familiar?

You are unsure what you want, only that you want to move forward professionally.

Your career path may look challenging to explain and irrelevant in the U.S.

Clarity for your next career step

Career Strategy USA offers confidential professional coaching in English and Spanish.

Every session starts with an outcome you define. Through an ontological coaching lens, we explore how identity, language, and emotions shape the way you experience the world, communicate with others, and how others may experience you at work.

Coaching is a collaborative, non-judgmental partnership for reflection and awareness. You make your own decisions and choose how to move forward.

How coaching works

What is coaching?

Coaching is a confidential, client-centered partnership that creates space for reflection and awareness to achieve professional and organizational goals. It is not therapy, mental-health treatment.

My approach is ontological, which means we look beyond your résumé. We pay attention to the stories and assumptions that may be shaping how you see your experience and your options.

Career Strategy USA coaching work blends ontological and executive coaching frameworks. An ontological lens invites us to explore how language, emotions, and body language influence your actions and outcomes.

Through one-on-one coaching sessions, we explore what the conversation is that you are not bringing to the room, and it is necessary to move forward and take informed actions.

Is coaching a good fit for you?

While we use different coaching tools tailored to the client’s goals, such as assessments, coaching cards, mock interviews, and resume preparation, the focus and goal of each session is not centered on a typical career coach.

Our services go beyond typical career services because our philosophy is to empower clients to become the professional they envision from the inside out.

We believe that real transformation starts with ourselves.

Coaching is for you if you:

Enjoy investing in your personal development.

Want to challenge your assumptions, limiting beliefs, and behaviors.

Look for sustainable changes.

Expect to work on yourself.

You are not willing to work on your personal development.

Relearn and think out of the box.

Prefer not to invest in personal development.

Monserrat Galindo | Professional Coach

I am a Mexican immigrant living in New York since 2023.

Coming from a middle-class family, I believed hard work and technical skills were enough to succeed. This changed after moving abroad during college.

A scholarship to a U.S. leadership program in high school opened my world, and I began to envision an international career. I have since lived and worked in Monaco, France, Mexico, and the U.S.

Though my background is in hospitality, I transitioned into international education, operations, customer service, and admissions. Advancing my non-linear, international career was challenging, especially after moving to the U.S. in 2023.

Although I did not attend a top global university, I landed my dream job at an Ivy League school within six months of arriving in NYC.

This motivated me to use my talent for crafting compelling career stories for people with non-linear paths, along with my coaching education. That's how Career Strategy was born—to help Latinos make their non-traditional career paths relevant in the U.S. job market.
